Headquartered in Central London, Walls & Futures is an independent property consultancy providing tailor made investment advisory services to private clients, professional practices and institutional funds. With our advanced portfolio modelling techniques we are able to clearly structure the investment process and combine it with active asset management to outperform the market.

With over 15 years of experience the team have sourced and managed over £350 million (GBP) worth of UK real estate for clients. In addition, the senior management are themselves portfolio landlords and have firsthand experience of analysing markets to provide strong risk-adjusted returns across the UK.

To satisfy the increasing demand for hands off property investment, we now offer investors the opportunity to invest in residential property funds. They are developed in partnership with experienced professionals, Dunadd Asset Management and Brodies LLP to maximise investor returns. With our experience in residential property we ensure careful selection of well secured assets with attractive yields and active management.

As an independent property investment consultancy we remain proactive and focused on delivering superior returns for our clients and investors.

Joe McTaggart

Managing Director

Joe is the founder of Walls & Futures. Beginning his career in property working for one of London’s largest and most successful estate agents, he then went onto run a Mayfair based property Investment Company responsible for over £350m worth of UK real estate.

As a business graduate Joe began his career in property with Foxtons, one of London’s largest and most successful estate agents. Foxtons provided a dynamic training ground with the opportunity to develop a thorough understanding of the Central and South West London property market. Commanding a senior role he controlled a department responsible for a £45million property portfolio.

Given his success Joe was headhunted by a Mayfair based Property Investment Company to run the core business functions for TIC INVEST. During his tenure TIC become one of the UK’s largest property investment companies sourcing, packaging, financing and providing asset management for over £350 million worth of UK real estate.

Working in such big corporate companies was fantastic although Joe wanted to offer a more be-spoke service to clients. Walls & Futures was therefore founded as a boutique investment consultancy to serve both his individual and institutional clients.

David White

Sales Director

David brings a wealth of property experience having both UK and International experience managing multi-million pound property portfolios across the UK and more recently consultancy roles in the Middle East for developers and Investment Funds.

Originally based in North London running a £20M property portfolio David was soon approached by a Mayfair based Investment Company. Whilst there he was tasked with the asset management and expansion of a £50M UK property portfolio for the company’s international client base.

In 2008 David relocated to the Middle East to work as a consultant for developers and Investment Funds in the region. Based between London and Abu Dhabi David manages client relationships and develops on-going opportunities in the region.

Given his strong property background David compliments the values that Walls & Futures is keen to adhere to.

Ron Kennedy

Chairman

Formerly National Sales Manager for the Direct Sales Force of Standard Life. Currently acting as a management consultant, specialising in risk management.

Peter Wylie

Chief Executive

Consulting Actuary, running his own consultancy, Peter Wylie and Company. He has specialised in providing advice to pension schemes of all types.

Alan MacDonald

Deputy Chief Executive

A solicitor with more than 20 years experience of commercial property transactions. He holds a number of other positions including being non-executive Chairman of a private technology company and lay member for the General Dental Council.

Alan Burton

Non-Executive

Former CEO of Standard Life Investments (Mutual Funds) Ltd and founder Chairman of Investment Management Association. Currently a non-executive director of Bank of New York Depositary and a pension trustee for Standard Life.
